What happens if our system rejects and reacts to a food?
The body reacts by creating inflammation. Inflammation is
meant to protect the body from foreign substances. But
when the body creates inflammation due to food rejection
it is a big problem.
Food Sensitivity is related to the body's natural immune
response and production of a class of antibodies
categorized as IgG antibodies. Much like in allergic
reaction, in which the body produces IgE antibodies, there
is an immune response that leads to inflammation.
You see, the body makes lots of
different types of antibodies, and they
are named with letters. IgE is the
antibody associated with classic food
allergies, like a peanut allergy.
IgA and IgG are “delayed response
antibodies”. IgA antibodies can last
up to a week in your body after you
eat a food, and IgG can last three
weeks. These anti bodies are part
of "Food Sensitivity" You don't
notice them, but your body rejects
this food and builds up
inflammation.
Why do we need food Sensitivity Testing?
Unlike a serious allergic reaction, a food sensitivity
inflammatory response is delayed and can manifest
itself in many different forms building up over time.
We don't know what foods our body is sensitive to.
Because of the high level of specificity that antibodies
have, our test can recognize which IgG antibodies are
being produced by the body due to a particular food
you are eating and thus causing a food sensitivity.
When you temporarily reduce or eliminate the foods
that your body is reacting to the inflammation is

How Does our “GutCheck” Food Sensitivity Test Work?
We use the scientifically and medically accepted method
of measuring antibodies in the body called Enzyme
Linked Immuno-Assay (ELISA). This methodology is also

diagnosis of viruses, bacterial infections, and allergy
testing.
It is highly accurate and repeatable. Most other food
